I'm Thankful for my Prequel!

There are so many things I'm thankful for this Thanksgiving--my husband, my kids, my extended family, my in-laws, my friends, my writing community, my fur babies. You get the gist. As for my writing career, what I'm SUPER thankful for is the prequel I'm working on! The story is flowing out of me, the characters are springing to life, the conflict and emotional turmoil are deep. I had wanted to release the book in December, but to do it right, it looks like the release will be late January/early February. I need to make sure my critique partner, beta readers, editor, formatter, and cover designer have ample time to do what they need to do without being rushed. Even though everything always ends up being rushed, right? lol
