A Book and a Puppy!

Hooray for a new month!! But can we take a minute to talk about July? For me, July was CRAZY!! And the month was all about this book and this precious puppy!!

If you follow me on Instagram (www.instagram.com/rosegarciabooks), then you already know about precious Penny Frisket! This tiny, fluffy puppy showed up in the early morning hours of June 3rd at my front door during a massive thunderstorm. We gave her water and food, and a warm bath, and kept her while we searched for her owner. No one was looking for her, and she didn't have a chip, so we ended up keeping her! We took her to the vet and found out she was four months and seven pounds. She's now almost ten pounds, knows her name, is housebroken, and is sleeping through the night!

But more importantly, Penny has been a huge blessing because our beautiful Spotty Dotty ended up crossing the rainbow bridge at the end of June. Penny made the loss so much easier on me and the family, and also on Daisy Ginger.

While Penny was a huge part of my July, the other GINORMOUS part was finishing and releasing Fae Fractured! I'm SO thrilled that the book snagged an orange bestseller flag from Amazon, and stellar reviews have been rolling in!

Fae Fractured is book two in the Fae Bloodlines Series and continues the epic story of fae princess, Celyse, and seemingly ordinary human, Julio, as they struggle to survive the wrath of a vengeful queen and a deadly witch. You also get to see them take their relationship up a notch. #SWOON The book has a few chapters from the villains and it was SO fun writing them!!
